How much does mold remediation cost?
Price depends on the affected area, the surfaces involved and whether material has to be removed. A bathroom with mold on the joints costs much less than a room where plaster has to be replaced.

Do you do full mold remediation, or just cleaning?
Full remediation. We assess the contamination, contain the work area, remove material that can't be saved, treat all affected surfaces, filter the air and deal with the source of the moisture. A follow-up test can confirm the result.
Do you remove contaminated plaster or plasterboard?
Yes. When mold has gone into the material and treatment won't reach it, we remove the affected plaster or plasterboard and dispose of it safely. Painting is quoted separately, on site, once the walls have dried.
Do you fix the source of the moisture?
We fix the simpler causes ourselves: leaking showers and shower trays, failed seals and silicone joints, poor ventilation. We don't do heavy plumbing work such as burst or broken water pipes. In those cases we tell you exactly what needs fixing, so your plumber can repair it before we remediate.
Does mold come back after remediation?
Not if the cause is resolved. That's why we look for the source of the moisture rather than just treating the stain, and why we always leave you with clear recommendations on ventilation and humidity control.
Do we need to leave home during the work?
It depends on the scope. The work area is contained, but for larger jobs we recommend that more sensitive people (children, the elderly, people with allergies) stay away while products are applied and material is removed.
